In our programme you can find glass tubes and cylinders in different glass qualities – whether as a whole length or readily cut into sections, including edge treatment. We produce tubes and cylinders according to your needs and with nearly all lengths between 1 – 2,000 mm.
We process the following glass qualities; further qualities can be supplied on request. It is also possible to bring your own glasses for processing. -

The cutting-up of the tubes can be done the following ways; the character of the sections corresponds to the method used.
Carving and breaking:
Sharp-edged, not 100 % plane, the cutting area is glass clear
Thermal shock method:
Sharp-edged, not 100 % plane, the cutting area is glass clear
Sawing
Blunt, not 100 % plane parallel, section is mat, edges may have small raptures
Parting-off:
Blunt, plane parallel cut, section is mat, to a great extend without raptures
 - Different profiles
After cutting them into lengths, tubes can be reprocessed. We offer, for instance, the following treatments:
- Rounding or fire-polishing the edges
- Chamfering the inner and outer edges
- Matting the surface ( sandblasting )
- Thermal shaping of the ends
- Drilling or extending the cylinder ends
