Mark tubes are used for X-ray structural analysis of monocrystals, powder preparations and liquid crystals. With these extremely thin-walled capillaries it is possible to analyse smallest samples gas and moisture tightly sealed. Their extremely thin walls of only approximately 10 µm makes them particularly suitable for high-precision measuring.

With the large funnel at the upper rim even smallest samples can easily be filled into tubes of smallest diameters.

Mark tubes are available in different glass qualities with different linear absorption coefficients, so there is a suitable tube for nearly every kind of application at hand.

For working with temperature-, moisture- and air-sensitive crystals we offer a special crystal preparation and filling device (CPD) which is optimally adapted to our mark tubes.
